About the client:
Our client is an Ukraine-based company focusing on intelligent visual information processing: images, video, and signals. Being a team of experts with Ph.D. degrees in various mathematical disciplines, we provide technical consulting, R&D services, and custom software development for any image and video analysis problems.
About role:
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) who will be a key player in driving their technical projects forward. They range from AI research to the development of AI-powered mobile and web applications, and as a TPM, the candidate needs to have the technical knowledge and leadership skills to manage them all effectively.
Also, we’re looking for someone who is a natural problem solver with the ability to set clear goals, inspire teams, and get things done.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Experience with managing mobile and web development.
- Successfully delivered projects for US/EU customers.
- Software development life cycle understanding.
- Experience with estimations.
- Experience with resource planning.
- Upper-intermediate English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Strong interest and passion for AI technology and its applications.
- Experience managing technical projects, especially projects in artificial intelligence, computer vision, deep learning, or NLP.
- Master’s degree in an engineering specialty.
- Software development experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects from conception to completion.
- Collect business requirements and transform them into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Perform acceptance testing of the delivery.
- Ensure successful project delivery to clients.
- Carry out retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in AI and related fields, and apply that knowledge to improve project outcomes and drive innovation.
